It is needless to state that success in team requires energy, talents and ideas of everyone in the team. However some individuals, heavily entrenched in counter-productive behavior, failed to respond to the need for effective team work. This led to frustrated and expensive work environment posing a huge challenge to the organization and affecting its bottom-lines in productivity.
The Challenge
The client wanted all its employees from different business verticals to have a unique common objective. It was absolutely necessary to bring in cohesiveness to build up a strong team that would pursue company objectives with intense focus and weed out the streaks of individuality that weakened the team.
The Solution
Starting as a consulting project to assess the problems and the challenges within and between teams, a bonding initiative was developed with the objective of drawing out the best contribution from everyone and offering everyone the opportunity to become a fully functioning team member. Achieving group concord and consensus, team dialogue and interaction and aligning with the organization goals, were an integral part of the learning process.
Business Benefits
A sense of “one team” approach was incorporated as part of organization culture over a period of time, fulfilling the desired objectives of the client. Development of effective teams and a cross-functional work culture is now helping the client see an increase in the bottom-lines in productivity.
